Event Description

There’s more to things than meets the eye — especially in art. What we see is an amalgamation of contexts, symbols, ideas and more. Join Shubhasree Purkayastha from MAP, as she takes a deep dive into an artwork from our ongoing exhibition, VISIBLE/INVISIBLE: Representation of Women in Art through the MAP Collection. Learn more about its context, narrative, artist and making, to gain further insight into what makes this piece unique. We will host two mediated sessions, one at 3:00 pm and another at 5:00 pm.
